i have an iBook - does any1 know if i can play different region dvds in my drive or just region 2 which we have in the uk???

i9 dont understand [Confused]

its the cd rom/dvd combo i have, what came with the computer. the software im using is Apple DVD player version Z1 - 2.6

well i most cases of making DVD players region free you are using firmware to write over the code that is in place. That's why you need to know the exact model of the drive.
