oh nooooo - not at all - loads of old legacy systems with heaps of lines of COBOL code. I HATE COBOL WITH A PASSION - I think I did 2 courses on it spanning 1 year and then left the company to get away from it !!

well i use the following

Actionscript

Lingo

JavaScript

Java

XML

PHP/ASP/Coldfusion

SQL/MySQL/Oracle

LINUX/UNIX

and networking/topology/protocols/security

although probably security is my fav [Well Happy][Well Happy][Well Happy]

and wub wub COBOL has been revamped AGAIN!! But there a lot of places that still use it. But you'll notice an increase of middleware for that reason too

Actionscript is Flash programming language. I love it think it's the muts nuts.

Lingo is Directors programming language. Kinda similar to ActionScript but very powerful in the new media market.

I'm gettin into PHP too, got a friend that is a guru in it and i've been learning PHP and Flash interaction. [Well Happy]

I prefer Java over C++ for a few silly reasons. Mainly i had a bad experience with C++ when started uni so kinda put me off it. And i like OOP, that's about it, and i prefer to write network code in Java than C++ because i find it easier with it.

Oh dear god that was very geeky. [shocked]
