Apart from the obvious (vinyl ( old ) better than CD ( new )) can anyone else think of any old stuff that might in certain situations be better then new stuff?

puncture repair kits - in the old days you used to get a proper tin container and things were made SO much better

Old summer times were better than those 2day as we used to have 6 weeks of sunshine & a few days of rain. Now we are lucky to have a few days sunshine!
