Anyone see the documentary where Goldie was talking about when he was trying to get it released? He took it to some record executive and made him put it on while sitting in the car. He locked the doors so that the record executive couldn't leave until it was finished.

 

Goldie was like "Have some of this you c*nt" and basically threatening to kill the geezer if he didn't sign him.

 

Pure class.

BTW I think the vocalist was Lorna Harris.

Actually, I stand corrected. Lorna Harris was on State of Mind (also on Timeless). The woman on Inner City Life was Diane Charlemagne. Don't think she's ever done anything on her own, but she's something of a regular guest star on other people's work (quite a regular on Goldie's stuff).

 

Do a search on her name at Barnes and Noble and you'll get a list of all the stuff she's been involved with.
