I thought Darius was the worst, up-his-own-arse, male on the pop stars series.

Respect to the guy - he said he'd do it and he has, hes half way there to reaching his prediction, he proved all the fakes wrong, hes made it No1 which he wrote himself and shoved it up the arses of all those that slated him!

 

Thats the kind of person that will go further than any Gareth Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Gates or Will whatever his name is!

he may well be better than will and gareth but then that is no accolade.

 

pop idol didn't set out to create an idol, it was a search for who would be least offensive to the majority of society, and therefore would be easily marketable.

 

having said all that when you look at george michaels lyrics in the early days he was no world beater either.

you'll find this hard to believe, but i also think that darrius is an alright bloke. he's getting abit "i don't hate anybody in the world" at the moment but that might actually be how he is.

 

i also agree that he has a lot of drive and determination.

 

i just think that this song is rather poor.
