i cant upload an avater pic

 

someone help!!!

 

it done it b4 but wont now,says wrong type of file,yet same as every other one

msn it to me and i'll dump it on my server, that way you can like to it through a webaddress

Are you sure it's a .jpg file?

If the picture is too big it will say its the wrong type aswell.

 

make sure you've either cut it or shrunk it to the right size.

mine shrunk itself

How big was it before? If it's a certain size then it will shrink to the right avatar size or if the file size is OK it'll shrink aswell.

 

I think its more to do with file size in KB's than picture dimensions.

see i copied the http off that pic and it still wont show

 

how do u copy past the http? it always covers my edit button to copy it...

Click on the picture and goto save 'picture as'

 

Then try to upload the avatar again

and i thought i was useless when it comes to techy stuff
