iv just had a letter saying i owe the housing office £1300

 

this is because the benefits section have worked out how much i have sposed to have been paying instead of what i was told to pay....if you get my drift

 

bearing in mind this has been backdated to 4 years ago when i was working more.....just a bit bloody behind in the paperwork then

 

and thay want this money withing the next 14 days otherwise the papers are going to court to evict me what a fucking cheek, it was there fuck up so im paying for it

 

i can see why some people work and claim all the benefits going, its less bloody hassle

Call them up & explain your circumstances, they should be able to set you up a payment scheme, I had this too Lou, fooking annoying eh!!

iv called them and my housing officer is on holiday till next thursday, the others said they cant deal with it.......so im gonna be worrying till then

 

Tell them you're gonna go to your local councillor - it may make them move on a bit.. and if not then go see ur mp!!

 

Im in a similar situation atm.. off to the court in half an hour myself!! Hope it all works out ok for you tho, they can be total arseholes!! x
