Sweets are getting smaller. Wagon wheels use to be HUGE but are now tiny, Dime bars were bigger, curly wurly's were longer, fizzy cola-bottles were alot more fizzier.

 

I think the main reason is that the cost of the raw ingredients keeps going up slightly but instead of bumping up the prices, companies just make the sweet confections smaller.

Agreed, but you still get the same weight of crisps (usually 35g per bag). Apparently the foil inside keeps them fresh for longer and I imagine that the more foil there is, the longer they stay fresh...or something.

 

Did any of that make sense?

Well, one does have a 136 IQ, but most of that gumph was just logical thinking...I think.
