*I used to smoke b&h when I first started when I was about 13, then I changed to Sovreign and now I some Marlboro lights!*

Was in a local with a few mates last night, i almost died seeing people spark up all around me, sometimes its terrible.

Sorry........wont mention it again! Your doin well though if ya didn't give in at the pub................well done!

It was about the 5th time since ive stopped that i'd been in a rub-a-dub.

It gets easier (the craving), but also gets worse if that makes sense.

I started with Regal, but have also smoked Malbro Reds, Camel, B&H, Embassy. Now I'm on Malboro Lights. I'd given up for 3 weeks, but I was in Romford this week and had a stressfull time workin down there, so I started again !!! Bummer !!! I'm going to try and give up again as from now !!!!

Used to be B&H in the early days but I moved onto the more trendy Malborough Lights!

 

Now - fresh air & it feels great!

 

TidyTranxGrant - I had a MASSIVE row with my man on Tuesday night. We split up, I slept on the sofa & drove him home before I went to [censored] yesterday! I was absolutly gutted. Non stop snuffles n snot bubbles - but not one ciggy! Then when we "made up" yesterday afternoon/evening/midnight/morning/morning - still no ciggy!

 

Keep at it, I know it's hard but it will be worth it. xx

The reason it gets harder, even though the craving is less, is that You'll be going past the 'focusing on the fact that you've given up' as the goal, to getting to grips with the 'staying off them' as a goal.

 

It's like climbing two mountains. Having reached the top of the first (the i've given up)one, which was a fucker, but achievable. You're now looking at the cliff face (staying off them) in front of you and thinking I'm [censored] if I can do that. At that point i reached for the nicotine patches, gum, tablets.

These disasociate the nicotine from the fag, and enable you to concentrate on staying off fags, b4 u wean yourself of the nicotine.

You might aswell smoke dog [censored] then marlboro lights mate, theyre foul and if you smoke a light brand cig like marlboro lights, then its not worth the time of day smoking anyway.
