Hellooo,

 

I could have major travel problems with the Gatecrasher NEC bash! I checked trains today, and there's one which gets into Birmingham on the 16th at just after 8pm, fine, no problem. Then, however, there's no trains back on the following day until 1.30pm and, er.. I can't really afford a hotel room, being a povver student!

 

So how can I pass SIX hours, being incredibly cold? Is there an afterparty somewhere? Techno party at a quarry would be ideal ... Anyone have any suggestions on what to do until the train leaves? I don't travel by coach cos I've had too many bad coach experiences, so it has to be the train.

 

Yep, me n Sig are coming down to see all you lovely folks down thar in England (I'm English but, shh, don't tell anyone) ...

Nah I'm definitely definitely going; got the ticket last week, I'm going to be booking a train sometime in the next few days.

 

If anyone was maybe driving to it from Leeds or Newcastle, and if there was enough room for 2 in the car, then me n Sig can easily get a train from there I reckon, good old GNER.

failing that theres aftersential which is hard house and a real dive but better than the cold by far!

if you book far enough ahead you may get the bargain amount of 20 quid on the train!

Sorrrrteeeeeeed for travel and everything now I reckon; already booked a train. There's also a Scottish Gurn contingent on their way down to the NEC, on what's apparently a rather mad and chaotic bus ... will prob tag along wi'that and cancel train tix.

Heh, tis true, I'm a lightweight.

But a lightweight "in training". That's important.

 

I still could end up doing Tidy in Leeds, who knows, if I can be convinced enough come 6am the Sunday morning. Take it it's a night-time thing though, eh? Not daytime like SS? Think I'm getting my hard house clubs confused here...
