me and claire dc have decided we might like to find a room some where for the weekend of 13th dec.

Um, well if you can't find anywhere cheap to stay you two can crash at my house if you want, although i live in the bloody south-east of london.

OH... you mean in London.....Rather than anywhere in the country.

 

Travel lodges, and 'Cheap' places centreish start at £50ish, unless u can get a late deal, closer to the day.

Below that you will risk ending up in a real social security toilet!!

Further out towards the suburbs, you will find B&B's in the £20-40 bracket. And the travel lodges get a bit cheaper. Depends how far you want to travel from the west end.

 

Crashing in someones room would be the chepest alternative!!

Don't really know much about B&B side, but to be honest, do know the hotel market very well. So, If it's a treat, and bearing in mind the state of the hotel market in central london at the mo, if you hold your nerve booking something a day or so before will prolly get you a great deal slap bang in the middle of London, in a 3 / 4 star hotel for a great deal less dosh than you would, if you booked today.

 

Travel lodges even outside the centre, are all showing £80 per room for the 13th/12.

The Strand Palace 3*+ hotel on Lastminuite.com is showing the same for two sharing, with breakfast, tommorow night!! Get on the phone to them direct and I bet they would do u an even cheaper deal.

 

If you decide to risk the last minuite thing and you get stuck, I'll wade in and try to find u something, or else I am sure shenlong will step in!!.

i can recommend the generator with a bar open til 2am and pints between 6-9pm are only £1
