it was made at the same time so its not a take-of at all

 

the whole film was made for 1 3rd of the effects budget of the last two matrix films and pisses all over them...

 

says a lot, cos the matrix sequels were awful... yes.gif

i think the matrix was done smoother, so the extra costs show. and i liked the last two films.

 

i refuse to believe that the two scenes had nothing to do with each other...inside information getting leaked or something

Tarantinos ideas all come from old japanese movies.

i have some dvds of 70's samurai slash-em ups which usually end in the hero Ogami Itto slashing up about 50 people in a fight...a-la kill bill...

 

so, no...

well maybe the wachowski (sp) bro's had watched some slash em ups... star wars is based on a film called "the hidden fortress" (lots of films share things in common). but watching kill bill with some of the camera angles, moves, costumes, and the fact they came out within a couple of years of each other, i still don't think there's no uncanny similarity between them. and i think they are both great films.
