You said you had house insurance - it should cover fully away from home. I had two expensive jackets nicked from a club within the space of a month and a half - I had to pay £100 excess for each but they fully paid.

 

Don't ask for a random quote eg £25000 But get some evidence you had 1210's - if you had a picture of your record collection that would help - ask for around £2000 or something

 

maybe it won't fully get it back but it's a step in the right direction???

Jus thought of an addition - I know its simple but check it hasn't been reported (I think probably not - it sounds like he is a weasel scumbag!) and if that's ok report it now (as you have got insurance) and get a crime reference number!
