I've noticed that when I put a new batch of pictures up there is a sudden surge on people browsing the gallery (i wonder why, lol) and this is partly the reason the box hangs and your browser appears to hang. The best thing to do is to not keep clicking whilst this is happening as it slows the process of us trying to sort the box out - I know this is a right pain but one day we will have a much higher performance box and so this wont always be a problem. Like anything though you get what you pay for and for the sort of box we require we're talking quite a bit of wedge.

 

So basically if you find the site running slow best thing to do is to leave it for 10 mins or so and go back to it a bit later.
