Today I was offered a job but only if I remove my eyebrow ring. The job is in PR liasing with clients. Would you take your piercings out for a job?

hmmm thats a hard one... in my last job (Admin) they asked me politely to take my tongue stud out and i politely refused lol nothing more was said about it. you are expected to have a certain image in that kinda job tho... on the other hand why shud u? its up to u, i personally wudnt but it sounds like a good job

Its actually gonna be my first job in London and it was the managing director of the company that asked me to take it out.......I have had tha piercing for like 4 years and neva eva taken it out.........and I have to decide by 2morrow....mmmm

Take it out .. PR .. You never know .. once you settle in and get known they may prefer it in !! lol

I don't think you should have to, its not going to change your abilty to do the job.

I suppose it depends how badly you want the job.

to be honest, it if came to either being un-employed, or having to take my belly button ring out, i'd deffo take it out!

I wouldn't take a job if they asked me to remove my piercings, simply because, if they really thought you were up to the job, they shouldn't care about it, it doesn't effect your ability to [censored]?!

but it might reflect of what my clients think of me though, I think its all about a clean cut image thing

Remove it! Good jobs aint that easy to come by! Save your piercing for when you're out ...

I will have to take my tongue piercing out when i join the army cos its 2 much hassle changing to my "retainer"

 

Thats a thought! you could get a retainer, they are clear plastic that slips in and u can hardly see it!

 

Sainsburys gave me a disciplinary about my tongue and sent me home about 3 times.......now i just wear it 24/7 and take it out for no one!

I would take it out, cuz it ownt heal now uve had it in for 4 years, i think its worht the money of a good job!
