Alright peeps, I was just wondering what your opinion was on the 'The Fridge' Club in London, thats if any of you have been there. If you have, could you please just post like a little abit about it, good or bad, I really need some feed back on the place, cheers!

I've only been once (not for lack of desire) - to Escape to Samsara. It was my first night on the scooby snax and it was absolutely fooking immense!! It is dance heaven - big fat choons, airy high ceiling, plenty of space to chill out, cubicles for two (sex indiscriminate) in the loos, cold running taps and enormous fans on the dance floor when the action hots up. There is also a massive screen, plenty of a/v and special effects and a really friendly crowd. Popular with cyber, try-hard and comfy. What more can I say - great venue!

i have to say i do like the venue as well, but only in small quantities

 

its a nice venue, but like most london clubs it does feel dark and dingy and v dirty.

 

plus its in brixton

went to xlr8 - is that the place cant remember - was ok bit shitty but it is brixton

Used to love it for XLR8 but the last time I went I didnt enjoy it at all, just felt the sound system wasnt up to scratch.

CANT BEAT IT - Mine and Matt D's ears werent working for 3 days but it was worth it.

fook me - you're joking - XLR8 was the first proper hard house night I found in London - its that which got me into it - that and downstairs in Garlands, Liverpool.

 

Didnt even know the music existed until early this year!!

I luv the fridge! never had a bad nite there, and the tunes r always wicked. The bouncers r also cool too, no searching or hassle in there, and it's dead easy to get to afterparties too if ya wanna carry it on! def one of the best london venues 4 clubbin if ya into hard house or trance!

i have been to the fridge for many a superfish and yeh its a bit grotey but its a great club nice and big without been to big...plenty of places to go on a mission, plenty of chill out space, great crowed, unisex loos, lighting visuals and pyros are wicked, sound is average to good, and a nice lay out, staff can be a bit cold but the paramedic is hysterical...i would recomend it as a venue

Im goin to the fridge for x-statics' xmas party on friday, so i'll try to give an up to date review, (if i can remember the night..lol) I'll take some pics too. Probs the only time i'll go there cos x-static r movin to Camden palace next year. Tis gonna be wicked!

Been there loads of times for various nights including - Superfish; heat; supernova; Endorphin; Rave Monkey; XLR8; Logic and others I can't think of. Haven't been to Love Muscle there though - lol!!!

 

Asa venue it's like a small Camden. Normally quite a good atmosphere and it's gotta cafe and wicked seating area upstaires. It's best visited wen it's not too busy though caus it can get really hot and they like to ram it out!!!

Yep, top club, the atmosphere is the best in London. Bouncers are about as good as bouncers get, the stalls and chillout upstairs are mad, and it's just generaly a nice place. Ok, so it's a bit grotty.

I think the fact that it's in Brixton is a good thing, being off the beaten track means that only people really into their music turn up. Which is how it should be.

went to the fridge on saturday nite for the torque xmas party, it absolutely rocked hard, every time I've been there I have had the best nite. It may be dark and dirty,but thats tha way I like it
