Was only the other weekend I was asking to Si what the f*ck everyone would do if it got shut down.

 

If it is true then its another reminder that getting too messy can really [censored] things up.

its not fair tho... its the best place on earth. they can't just close it

surely another one will open - there is a HUGE demand for this type of night so someone is gonna replace it surely ?

On the plus side its gonna feel pretty special I guess knowing that you went to it when it was around though.

sundissential must have been making a lot of profit out of north so there must be lot of hassel from authorities for them to shut down.

But surely if it hassle from authorities in Leeds then they would just move as it is so popular?!?!

there are a lot of casualties each month which i guess creates loads of hassle for the promoters. moving club/city wouldn't really address the problem of people [censored] up.

 

gb will have contributed, doubt its just that tho.. just drugs in general.. they let loadsa undercover cops in to stop it getting raided and yet ppl are still being carried out and people being caught in there.

 

maybe ss are scared that they'll end up like insomniacz if things carry on. ie. problems with licenses/ venues not wanting to touch them.

I hope it's not true but I would also understand if it were.

 

I know SS has been paying someone to look for clubbers going under or taking GB and throwing them out of the club in order to reduce the problems inside.

 

Having been going to SS North since 1999 obviously it's become bigger since then and so have the problems. It's not as busy as what it used to be, I'm sure PVC will remember when you couldn't move in the place it was so rammed (in both rooms) and that's because of the tougher measures on drugs, it took the carefree attitude away.

 

Madders had said in the past he would rather close than have anyone else die in his club, some obviously haven't been listening to him !!!
