I'm with Mr Happy on this (and only on this lol) - I like being random but am getting well pissed off with people mentioning the word...

 

if you think about it EVERYTHING we do in life is as a result of a random event - i.e. birth - every decision you make is based on a previously random decision (well it is for me anyway!!)

...you could just giggle and make a random quality back!

I'm with Wub on this - I think people need to relax more and be 'normal' which will innevitably lead to REAL randomness

There are DEFINITELY different levels of Randomness - sometimes I can be at level 5 - the highest and best level where everything I say is fooking funny (to others apparently, but this rarely happens), and it goes down to level 1 where you speak just for the hell of it because no one else is and try and come out with something random but ends up being a cliche and so unfunny - I've now learned to keep my mouth shut !

 

I think Random is GOOD though for afterparties - but by random i mean getting into a deep and meaninfull conversation or pretending you are not on earth at all and having a REALLY open mind - this then leads to the inevitable and funny comment from someone a few hours later of "What the F*CK are we going on about ??!"

 

Its particularly amusing if you've got Miss DC there taking notes

 

As with a good mix the best conversations & funny statements are those which happen entirely by accident.

totally agree on this one, were all random at some point, im usually random ont the coach going home, conversations tending to lean to what we watched on telly when we were five playdays, superted etc, and the usual wouldnt it be mad if .............. sorta coversations, but as u say people who come out with utter [censored] like im a carrot or some other complete nonsence, baically u just wanna stash a nut on their nose and walk off, just seems like people wanna be random all the time, sorta spoils it dont it, the time old saying theres a time and a place for everything comes to mind
