Because: how many farm animals can you think of that can supply you with enough wool every year to make socks, jumpers, rugs, hats and other wooly stuff. give you a good square meal for weeks after you've killed it, and give you sexual pleasure before or after you've killed it OR SO I'VE HEARD ANYWAY
