I think somebody needs to define what "commercial dance" is because I don't see what's wrong with making some money out of music!!

 

I mean The Prodigy got to number one, i.e. they are commercial, but I don't see why that makes them bad!!

 

Also I bet there are lots of flopped "manufactured popstars" who have made bugger-all out of their music, but that hardly gives them any credibility!

 

The fact is, there are lots of people out there who resent it when their favourite obscure band becomes popular. To those people I say "get a life", who cares how commercial it is! Good music is good music. Success breeds contempt.

I think that any 'Cover Version' in any genre should not be allowed to enter the top 10, if its a remix fair enough.
