sounds like what happened when me and housemates last year went duck hunting. we stopped after we realised how shit the air rifle was when it couldn't stop a duck from near point blank range right in the neck.

i actually live in haywards heath which is near brighton... the village next to us is called lindfield and they have lots of swans..

 

no starlings now! they are homeless now!
