Being Ill is expensive

I have taken the day off [censored] (not sure if I will get paid), to wait 30 mins for a doctor to mumble something, and give me a prescription which cost £12.50 (hey, there is my spending money for the weekend, so I don't have to worry about antibiotics and alcohol), and then say "if you don't feel any better in a couple of days, come back".

Ah, the joys of the NHS.
