I think everyone who came along to the Christmas party that was s'pposed to be at Red Cube know how [censored] Alist are (it was arranged through them!!). Do not book tickets or arrange guestlists through them, they are unreliable and rude!!!!

I booked a room at Red Cube for December 6th paying a £100 deposit (Ref: 25909225). My group was unable to make that

date, and when we called to re arrange the date there were no rooms available for the week after. I was told that I could

Could you please let me know:

a) If I will get the deposit back if the people I put on the guestlist attend.

What time the guestlist closes~ which time is it free b4, and how much it is after

c) That the names for the guestlist below will be ok for Fri 13th Dec.

 

Could you please let me know ASAP as its only a couple of days away now and I've had trouble getting hold of someone

No, that is not ok. When I made the original booking with alist it was for a room for 25-30 people. The deposit was to be paid back as long as 70% attended. The people are still going to Red Cube, just on another date so you can't change the goalposts that far. To now try to change the number of people you need to 70 is outrageous. As I hadn't been able to talk to anyone at alist I called red cube directly, they said that they did not [censored] with alist anymore and that their guestlist is full and that we're not on it. Please sort this out for us, at the moment the things we've had on the site about Alist have been good~ we even put a link up to your website. It would be a shame for that to have to change. Please sort out a reasonable plan to ensure the return of our deposit and let me know for definate that the names I've listed are on the list.

ignore all these so-called guest list / 'vip' this 'vip' that companies - all shite. I also dont agree with these cards you get in Ibiza which aledgedly give you 'some special deal' for all clubs etc... all a con.

 

i'll be working on a better model when i get round to it - got a few ideas about getting round misuse of lists (like people using/swapping fake names) and also introducing some new credit scheme which will effectively [censored] like a 'clubbing loyalty card' - if you want more details on me fooked up ideas PM me! I wont even start looking into this until post Ibiza this year but it will happen as its something i've always wanted to do - "real membership cards"

This sort of thing needs making public!

one company that seems to [censored] well is Klubuniverse. I have one of their cards and theyve always been reliable and helpful with their guestlists. When I get the chance I will spread the truth about alist. People need to be warned.
