the only things i can remember being bought on valentines day is really bad perfume when i was about 14, some lad in school nicking his mums jewlery and giving it me, only to ask for it back, and a toastie maker from my ex when i was 18. a fookin toasty maker!! how un-romantic!!

maybe he was try'n to tell ya something with tha toaster maker?

I would say to be together, have real nice meal and a dozen red roses etc ................ very traditional I know.

i like white roses aswell! i think there nicer then red ones! bot to be honest wouldent mind if the rose was brown! lol!!! never been brought one!

For the first time ever, I got my first card last year. I splashed out on flowers, which went down very well I might add

Best gift I ever gave was dozen roses and a video......

 

she was coming around to cook me dinner, whilst I was at [censored], so there were a dozen red roses on the door step for when she got there. After the meal, we were cuddling up on the sofa, and i just "had" to catch up on the footie Surfed channels, and what was on "Romeo & Juliet", what a suprise, at which point I confessed that I had actually bought it for her.

 

The present itself doesn't have to be that "original", personally I think traditional is best, but do it with a twist.

 

I hope I don't get anything on valentine's day, cos it will only be my best friend trying to be nice, and actually reminding me I am single
