We had a good party at my previous flat. I was on the decks 'til 4am, when we finally turned the music down.

 

I don't think the elderley couple upstairs had heard any house music before. The next day, I went round to say thanks for putting up with the racket, and bought them a bottle of wine. They didn't seem to mind too much, and commented "it sounded like you were having a good time. Was somebody playing on the drums...?"

i know exactly how u feel, except its normally my housem8 in the room above me as he's trying to work. Most annoying was when he asked me to turn it down 50 mins into a recording that i wanted to send out. Meant that the rest of my mixing was shit even with just my monitors on and not my big speakers to keep the noise down

it's not such a unreasonable request is it though? especially this time of year when there arelots of coursework deadlines and exams to revise for

agreed, id be pissed off enough having rostwood living in the same house let alone having him play with his cd's aswell.
