It's the end of the financial year so I reccomend everyone get in contact with the inland revenue and see if you're due a tax rebate.

 

Due to having temped most of the time I've been in London and the amount of money I've earnt compared to the amount I've been taxed I should be in for a pretty fat cheque I reckon.

I've just been through this and due to some extensive unemployment last year, I've just received a nice sum. I guess they'll tax it back this year, but it always nice to receive cheques.

When I click on the Claim for income tax repayment link and download the file, I can't read it. What software do I need, or am I doing something wrong?

Tax really fooks me off - you get taxed on your pay - with that tax-free money you then get taxed again on anything you buy with that tax-free money - and then AGAIN if you sell that item !
