Also, that advert in the corner is making tings sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow its untrue!

Andy, when you get a warning box click the box, make it tick then click Yes!

 

It will make the little bastard disappear and your PC will return to normal !

If the pic is on your hard drive you have to add it as an attachment - click the box at the bottom that says 'preview post / add file' then add the pic.

If its already online all you do is right-click on pic, properties then copy the URL, add it into a post like this...

no its that bloody 'dream team' thing in the top right corner, have those adverts always been there or am i just missing sumfing?

They went up yesterday, some people have probs, some people dont, anyway, I dont know [censored] about IT so I'm staying out of this one !

They havnt always been there - went up yesterday. We have had a few complaints about this as this is branching into advertising. Im going to put a post up somewhere about the reasons but basically me & james decided this was the way forward for CTW, we need to cover the growing costs, ie server, promotion costs etc and are going to put all money made from it back into the site so that we can afford to do our own nights & promote our DJs properly.

can you PM me if the site is running slower - i know people on 56k modems to broadband and only 2 people have said its slower - i cant understand why it would be - its possible you have slightly different settings in IE or something - i would have thought the banners would still get cached so cant understand why it should run slower. Have you ever experienced this slowness on either sites like gurn/4clubbers/harderfaster ?

People weren't complaining, they was asking for some advice as in to what they can do to stop it happening !

My only arse was that this annoying box kept coming up everytime I clicked on a different forum, got it sorted now, it was as simple, just clicked Yes and away the bastard box went !

 

But then I've not exactly been the bollox when it comes to IT !
