Ive just been writing a report for uni and its on depression. Did u know that total lack of sleep causes an amphetamine like effect?

Therefore after a heavy weekend it is the lack of sleep that "[censored] people up".

Therefore how does lack of sleep make us grumpy when we should be "high"? laugh.gif

Basically....

there is a point where u are moody/tired but if u get thru that without goin sleep then that mey well apply what becky said, and its true. Ive been there b4 wen u dont feel tired or anything! Even after bein awake for a long time!

Just like hunger as well.... theres a point where ur appetite goes!

Mr Happy, what Moo wrote about the running isn't bullshit, its a well known fact known as 'second wind'. This is where after 15-30 minutes of exercise you start to tire, but then suddenly feel more energised and can carry on. Whats actually happening is your body has just exhausted its carbohydrate supply and as now started to run on your fat reserves. So endeth the lesson.....

I never get knackered in clubs if I do 'em straight!

Know wot u mean about the running too, I use to do 10 ks 3 - 4 times a wk til last yr n it was the 1st 15 minutes that was the hardest - after that I felt I could just go on and on!

n yeh its def the lack of sleep I reckon is a lot to do with comedowns as much if not more than the drugs 'em selves! My ex use to do shift [censored] n when on nites he was always dead grumpy all wk n he never touched drugs, jsut acted like he was on [censored] comedowns!
