Went round London last weekend and there were F*CK ALL Hardhouse tunes in the big shops (vigin, hmv, tower) - they had like 2 columns of it - and most of it were all the same tracks - and they werent even arranged properly. Plus some MONSTER of a queue for only 3 decks in operation - plus restriction on max of 10 vinls at a time. HMV didnt even have decks!? Was amazed that these big boy shops didnt cater better for HH. Even my local HMV in Milton Keynes had a far far better selection than the one in London.

 

Thank god i found a back street (thanks Wub) - SFX Records - walked in - guy picked about 20 HH tunes we may be interested in - [censored] loads of decks - no queue - sorted.

 

Can someone list me ALL the decent Hardhouse selling record shops in and around london for me ? Or should i just order online ???

 

So far I havent seen a better set of shops as close together as in Ibiza - so cant wait to get back out there.

Trax- Greek Street (off soho square)

and another shop just next to trax, can't remember name as its wierd to say.

pure groove in archway and basement vinyl in kilburn r also really good- but why r u pretending 2 b a dj james ?! lol

Not so much fun tho is it? cant beat that feeling of goin in2 a shop and finding sumthin youv never heard b4 thats awesome!! online shoppin is kinda cheatin in a way?!

I go there fairly often, they cater for some of the harder end of what I'm into. And they have bags of decks.

LMAO - no WONDER half the shops had never heard of the shop !!!

Soho has loads. And for a non-wannabe DJ to know that you need your eyes tested.
