My youngest ( Holly ) is going away today on a 5 day residential trip with school ... all the way down to Surrey for a PGL holiday ...

 

I'm gonna miss her soooo much!

 

Did any of you lot go on residential visits with your Primary school ? Did you miss home ?

 

The children aren't allowed contact back home ( unless they are horrendously homesick ) so I wont know how she is till she gets home on friday night. ( Gulp )

    ... because they could call back home really really upset ... hang up, and half hour later be totally fine! ( And I'd be sat at home worrying )

     

    If they are really homesick then they are allowed to call home ...

     

    She went off ok this morning ... I was the one with tears in my eyes !!

     

    Be funny though .. she hasn't been away from home for more than one night at a time ...

     

    Hmm .. now, what shall I do with myself ! ?

    wen my daughter went too france for a week, i was awful all week. she was real homesick. try too keep busy saffy, she will most prob love it smile.gif
