I have never been abroad in my life, but i am wanting to go to south africa and visit family, does anyone know best airline to use to go to africa, as i will be taking my daughter and my nan.......

My family and I are just trying to find flights to go to Cape Town for Christmas and new Year. They are extortionate at this time of year. A good airline to go with is Virgin Atlantic.

Hi, a friend of mine has just moved back to S'Africa, and she used to pop home all the time when she lived over here, I shall try and find out who she used wink.gif

it is a fecking awesom place. Loved it when I went there. South African Airways or BA are probably your best bets but there's no chance of cheap flights at Christmas. If you go after new year it'll be cheaper as all the SA'ers come back to London to earn their pounds...

SAA and Turkish airlines are the cheapest (read scariest). BA and Virgin are the best (virgin is actually in front by miles).

 

Book as early as you can to get the best prices though.
