at first when i saw em i was thinking "wheeeyyy they're direct drives..." but then the more i attempted to mix the worse things got. couldn't even push the record off to start with the right amount of force, it'd just race off or would start up too slowly; and it was proper difficult pulling it back or pushing it forward mid-play. then i tried to use those pitch control buttons, and didn't fare much better there either.

 

afterwards dooby said they didn't have very good torque. "ah. right." i think wub managed a decent mix though on Fri.

I couldnt even beat match on them to be fair!
