i do tattoo type drawings in my sketchbook.

you best bet is just to draw, then scan the tattooe into a computer and go over it in a vector based graphics program such as adobe illustrator, so you get a nice smooth finish.

 

a tattoo place will probable make your drawings look better anyway, as its what they do.

It doesn't need to look particularly good because its going over the top of his arm and shoulder so they'll have to fiddle with it to make it fit anyway.

 

Its just the concepts that I'm having problems with.

 

One thing I hate is the 'tribal' shit that everyone seems to have. I want it to actually be derrived from a specific culture rather than a load of meaningless crap
