Think she means that they have not become a comercialized band like the you here in the charts

Basically, Pantera are still, or at least were, still doing proper thrash type stuff, instead of putting in all this bolloxy rapping and synths (Limp Nesquik, Limpin Park).

 

(Not that I mind synths, stuff where synths/samples and guitars meet ie Ministry, (some) Rammstein is good stuff, and Linkin Park do some good stuff, but lets face it, they were manufactured in just the same way boyzone were)

had that feelin before

as you know im well into my trance, but i too used to be a metaller when i was at school. my top 3 metal albums are slayer 'reign in blood', metallica 'master of puppets' and bathory 'blood fire death'

 

this music is directly responsible for me never having a 'proper' relationship till i was 21!

 

metal nowadays just seems to be american boybands with guitars... selling angst to to sad teenagers who think 'its not trendy to be trendy'.

 

ive got a huge cd collection which never gets listened to any more.... you prolly be amazed at some of the stuff thats in there (it amazes me occationally!!)
