pretty much always loved techno - just had patches where i wouldnt listen to much of it 4 a while and let sumthin else occupy my ears, but never left the house w/o a techno cd on me

I love all music that dosent require an attitude to listen to it...

 

70's and early 80's hip hop/Electro, late 80's Techno, 90's Grunge, Hard house etc........ All good music i like

o god yeah - i love all kindsa music, but from as long as i can remember techno has been the main influence in my life

I go thru phases of music i listen to, more than like!! I dont stop liking music as such, just stop listening to it as much!!

exactly

i think i go through phases to an extent, but it's the same sounds in the tunes that I like, good basslines and hypnotic bits, and good chord progressions - i like some indie-ish music like this, and dance music with these elements too. my taste therefore tends to progress as I discover new producers/forms of music with these sorts of elements in them... if that makes sense!

i was an indie/rock/alternative teen in '92 when i first got into 'dance' it was more warp records type stuff than proper dance. ive still got all my cds from everything ive ever been really into and ill never say that i dont like it anymore, its just that im djing and producing trance so it doresnt get a look in.

i got into early trance in '93 and started djing. then i the club i went to turned into a techno club and i got well into that for years, and started producing. got myself 3 records out, then began to get a bit bored of techno. i wanted to do something a bit more musical. so i got back into my trance.

 

then i got into a 2 year relationship and dance music kinda faded into the background, as did clubbing.

 

then i came out of that relationship by this time eager to make and dj trance... and here i am.

industral techno

 

i was getting really into industral techno 2 (or so) years ago - still like it now, but i've descovered loads of funky techno djs recently (the last couple of years) that i adore 4 thier subtelty of mixing so the industrial stuf has taken a side line

ive actually split up with gf's cuz they couldnt understand my obession with music - i would find it extreamly hard to date sum1 that didnt appretiate the more refined side of club music (electro/techno/house/prog/etc) as well as just hard house.
