Mine used to be 'Y Cymro' translated means 'The Welshman' but that has closed down for good, some ###### has bought it and is turning it into a house or something.

 

So now i suppose its either 'The Kings Head' in the village or 'The Masons' or 'The Plough' in Denbigh.

 

Also how well do you know your Landlord/lady?

 

I used to get pie-eyed with Colin at the Cymro.

 

Only know the owners of the others pubs.

My nearest pubs the dolphin, but can't remember the last time I went in there.

 

I always go in the bar in town I used to work in called Bullit where I know everyone.

I wouldn't actually set foot in my local pub for fear i was battered to death with a pool cue or worse

 

the pub i usually go to is called the pint pot

Mine is THe Golden Horseshoe and I can see it from my front room window. I've only been there about 6 times in the last 18 months of living here. I dont really like pubs.

the closest pub ta me is the swallow, dont go there much but landlord did av 1 of me dogs pups a few yrs ago for a gaurd dog . the magic roundabout is more central for mates.

There are about 3 on every street.

 

It's even worse in St Albans, there's supposedly one for every day of the year!

My chosen local is called the The Roebuck

If we're talking pubs its The Star or the Dolphin

 

but im more of a bar girl so its Bar Boo or Evolution
