What are the most famous djs about trance techno at the moment in England? We'd like to find new sounds and artists that are not famous in France yet.

 

We could also be interested in booking djs in our night club.

they are two quite different genres really.... there aren't many djs that successfully manage to play both!

or hard house

in fact we are interested rather in hard house and techno!

Theres loadsa hard house people on here, and also a fair few people who like techno too

if you want techno, book Surgeon. (www.dj-surgeon.com) very competent and long-established British techno DJ.

 

if you want VERY HARD hard house, book Paul Glazby (www.vicious-circle.net) or Karim (Do Not Bend Recordings).

if you want something a bit less hard then book the Tidy Boys (www.tidy.com), because they are also amazing.

no, they are. they put on a good show and entertain a crowd which at the end of the day counts for something, no?

danny, re: Tidy Boys. well...yeah i can totally see where you're coming from. but i did my usual trick of having a pre-formed opinion that something is [censored], without even giving it a go. and then i decided that maybe i should give them a try, and i saw them for the first time at the weekender.

 

now i actually think they're great; well they kept me on the dancefloor for the duration of their set when i could have quite easily gone through to the other room or [censored] off to the arcades, so that must count for something.

 

yes they are cheesy and camp. end of the day though, they move a crowd and it's up to the promoter whether what they play is going to fit in with their music policy.
