It just hit me, as I was filling out the form on the "2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps" vote, that in just over 18 months I'll be filling out forms (both online and offline) in the over 25 category... Scary!!!

 

Age doesn't generally bother me - with other people. Age is just a number in which shit happens. It sounds stupid, but hitting 20 bothered me... Right up until it actually happened, then it didn't. But hitting 25 seems scary now - a quarter of a century, and about a third of the way through an expected life span. Oh well!!!

im 19 in the summer - making me 20 next summer (duh) - im not going to be a teenage anymore... im gonna have... responsibilities...

That's one of the things that hit me about 20... Becoming 20 was always in the future. Hitting 20 meant I was no longer a teenager, and that I wouldn't be able to use being a teenager as an excuse anymore. When I hit 20, however, I realised that I didn't actually need an excuse - and that nothing was gonna change!

age is a number imo - i dun think being 2-3-5-10 years older will change me as a person - im still gonna be just as hyper and annoying when im like 80 - so look out

im 26 in june, and 4 years to go and i hit the big three-OH

I'm 23 and a half too, the only difference between now and when I left school is that my forehead's higher and I take longer to recover from a good weekend.

 

At least I get laid once in a while these days.

I'm 27 and i'm ok with that...no really I am but when you get to a certain age a few things start happening in everyday life that are halfway between amusing and worrying...you'll catch yourself complaining about your 'poor old back' after a night out...you'll be talking to people about programmes you watched as kids or old songs or comedians etc and they'll all look at you blankly and say 'who?'...most worrying though is when your friends start referring to you as 'grandad'...and they're not joking!...cheeky young whippsnappers, i'll teach 'em to kick that ball in front of my house, why aren't they in school, honestly don't know what this country's coming to, why when I were a lad...grumble grumble moan moan etc.

 

I still act like a childish tit though...WOO!
