a really bad lie to get you a day off work....?

 

i just did today... i felt fine yesterday but today i think the weekend finally caught up...

 

told a lie to my boss as an excuse that im pretty ashamed of.... i aint even gonna say what it is its that bad..

 

anyone else ever done this??

of course! 2 days into a new job as a builder i said i was ill and had the day off. The day after, i went into work again but the day after that, i didnt go in again and i said i slept thru my alarm but i was just lazy both days and wanted to stay i bed longer.

 

I never worked for that man again. He payed fukcin [censored] wages tho, so it was ok. £50 a week aint worth gettin out of bed for.

Too words - stomach infection

 

Impossible to check up on, and people always steer well clear of you. Easy to get time off work.

 

I did once lie about one of my mates being in hospital and being too upset to go to work.

i only did it cos it had to be a good un... ive had far too much time off recently... stomach infection would not have been good enuff... lol

 

I find saying you have SARS always does the trick, but when Government agents, the military and people in space suits turned up, they didn't see the funny side...

i've never bunked off a day of work in my life - bveen close to it on a number of occations.

 

the only reason 4 this tho is cuz i'm [censored] @ telling lies so i know it would catch up on me

I've thought about making things up like someone has died but i just know that if i said that something terrible really would happen to them & i'd feel so guilty

i've had so many mondays off work last year was getting a bit suspicious so I'm being a good boy this year...total b*stard when i really get ill with the flu

/me is ill today. Don't need to lie to get the day off.... (But have done in the past, but that was years ago).

 

Stupid tw@t went out last night without me key... Got back about 12ish, and could I wake anyone up? Could I fook... The dog was going mental, but my bro & mom & dad were dead to the world. Luckily the garage was open...

 

A cold/flu-ey type thing is going around work anyway, and I was coming down with that. So spedning the night in a freezing [censored] garage with nowt on but a tshirt and jeans (I left my jacket at home as I was getting a taxi back!).

 

Better be feckin better for the weekend!
