yeah, well, it is still under guarantee, but it's accidental damage, though, so i'm not sure whether they'll repair it for free. we'll see what PC World say. bet you they say "errrmm..... NO, you damaged it. duhhhh". i can quite easily retouch each pixel every time though, it's not as much hassle as say if it was a scratch on the lens. it's a group of pixels which i can quite easily retouch in photoshop but it's just the effort.

 

but at least yes it's within 12 months, and at least i bought it from a shop rather than an internet place so i can actually speak to someone face-to-face.

Cant believe how much it will cost you to actually get it fixed. That is pretty dam hefty - but then, the camera isn't a [censored] one and thats the trouble with things like that. U may GOOD money for quality, but you have to be prepared to pay the costs of any damage
