I've got a couple of Cyberdog tops and thats as far as I go... so far anyway! Am planning some furry boots- thats if Claire ever tells me how to make them!!!! Come on Claire I'm counting on you!

Why do people call fluffy boots and dummies cyber? Cyber comes from cybernetics, and is all about body enhancement through technology. I can understand people calling the cyberdog stuff with body armour on cyber, but not the fluffy thing. I know people with full on underskin piercings in their back and stuff like that, that is cyber. Read some Gibson, Blade Runner et al, Iain M Banks, that is cyber.

 

*gets of soap box* I ain't got any problem with peeps in fluffy stuff (altho it always does my nut when eeyore suddenly appears dancing in front of me when I am coming up) Just wondered why it was called cyber

[censored] yes someone that understands cyber. i had this conversation before with a mate. Was a bit bizzare and lasted all of 1min.

Cos I listen to industrial too, I know some kiddies who are really into it, and when they roleplay *yawn* they make up some funky kits. I would love to cyber up one day, but by that I mean get a few chips inserted, get rid of my crap arms and legs and replace them with something I can use properly, I don't like fluffy boots!!

me and my mate came to the conclusion cyber was like the borg from star trek. But the other meaning to cyber i guess was being different. Kinda ironic isn't it?

Yeah, it does my nut in, being the anal twat that I am, I always want to point out to fluffies that they ain't cyber, but then again, have you seen my "r&b" post, I get uptight about silly stuff

my mate for GC 2000 wore a camera on his shoulder and a VDU on his chest. That was pretty fookin sweet.

i wear cyber tops, some with body armour lol - don't do my hair or paint my face lol though the way i'm going it only a matter of time

That is more cyber. Funny thing is, I am going to a cybergoth club tomorrow, and I am gonna wear my jeans, just to make a point. I don't like the black "uniform" they expect you to wear, or their cyber (closer to real cyber than cyberkids)

what makes me sad is that clubbin is going downhill. I miss the old days so feckin much. all the little silly dances that you did for fun. Just seems so serious now and really cliquey
