F*ck me - I've just had to top the data transfer up again - 2 months ago 5 Gig would last a MONTH - now it lasts 5 days!!!! Current costs are £15 per 5gig so this month is gonna be stooopid - I AM getting onto my new box soon though so hopefully 40gig limit will be enough. Its the pictures which are causing the problem I think - most sites have lower res pics on due to this transfer costing problem but I'm a bit reluctant to go that route as I want the pics to be of the highest quality possible.

 

O well, hopefully not long now until the new box is up.

Due to the fact that we appear to using 1GIG of transfer a day (and thats a hell of a lot by anyones standard) I'm trying to get to the bottom of the root cause so I'm running some tests - I have therefore switched off Avatars for now and I cant promise they will be back. I may also have to resize some of your profile pictures but I'll keep you posted. Apologies.
