Just to clarify she'd planned this trip round the world with her best friend before she met me, which is why she went.

She does care for me, I know what, and I care for her. But I'm doing my nut here with limited contact via random emails and even more limited phonecalls from her out of the blue. It might seem fine to her as she's occupied with all her travelling around and meeting new people and stuff, but it's no good for me here when all I get to dwell on is what I'm missing.

I guess I wasn't happy with the sexual side of things before she went, but I wasn't in a position to complain. I always felt that it was 'lucky' to get any sex or whatever, and thus I always felt guilty during it, meaning I couldn't relax and enjoy it..

anyway i'm rambling now.. excuse the wanker in the corner [bang Head]

Well, they sex ain't the be all and end of a relationship. but if it ain't working, how long before you utilise an alternative vendor?

I know what you're saying Mr. Wub, and i'm not that shallow to think of sex being the basis of any relationship, but I just don't like being made to feel guilty about it (I get enough of that from masturbation!)

I don't want to utilise an alternative vendor yet, until I've sorted the situation properly. I'm thinking now I don't want to go to Ibiza just in case I do end up doing something naughty. (Like I would! never had a one night stand in my life before.. and I don't think a bit of sunburn is going to turn me into Brad Pitt!)

Trouble is, that if I break things off now while we're apart, I'm going to be stressing for the next 6 months if I've done the wrong thing, and if I don't end things soon, I'm going to spend the next 6 months wondering if I've been wasting my time and she dumps me when she gets back!

Ahhh, thank god for internet porn and red wine.....

My other half is the exact opposite. First met her at GCSSS, then hooked up at big Beach Boutique. Since then, have been clubbing in Liverpool, at GKGG, and this weekend we are doing Peach at Camden Palace followed by Tidy Trax @ SE1.

She takes drugs, same amount as myself, and loves clubbing and all things related.

However, if you're gf does really care about you, then she'll have to appreciate that people do change, and that you may be into different things now.

Touchy subject wub_wub. Remember everyone, unless your girflriend has experienced clubbing, she will NEVER understand it or why you do it. That 'appreciate' bit is bull because at the end of the day, you're putting yourself in harm's way (to a mild degree).

If you've been with her for a long time, lay off clubbing for a while, then gradually get back into it. Hopefully she'll understand.

If it's a newer relationship, maybe she's not the one for you now that your interests have changed!

Good luck!

This is a difficult one hun, only you two can decide what to do between you. Maybe you should be honest and tell her what you do when you go out etc. Its not good to have secrets of any kind between you. The next step is whether she can accept you for what you are and what you do. If so, then all is ok, if not then its going to be up to you to decide whether you want to give up the whole clubbing thing for her.

3 years babe? long time!!! I've had a couple of long relationships also.

She sounds a bit jealous which is not good! Has she asked you to stop it altogether? Hopefully not as it's an important part of you (and all of us!).
