My mate in work from Liverpool has been calling me it all week

A Woolyback is anyone who is an out of towner to liverpool. People from St Helens (3 miles from my hosue get called it), people from the wirral get called it and people from warrington get it. It relates to the fact that out of towners used to get work on the docks unloading the wool off ships years and years ago.

 

God how asstounded of my local knowledge are all you? Hehe

A wooly back is a non Liverpool person - Like me I guess!!

 

You MUST tell me where you're going to be working cause I work in Warrington, junction 21a of the M6!! We could do lunch darling!! LOL
