I was wondering if there where any good sites where I can copy some decent riffs down.

I have the imminent arrival of a big,new fuckoff shiny rickenbacker and I fancy moving on from my bonehead like guitar status.

I tend to just search for the band I am looking for, and add tab/tabulature into the search

yep go to www.olga.net mate. There's loads of TAB for riffs, scales and songs. Ive got over 1000 of them downloaded off that site from the past few years

Here's an interesting one for aladair.I used to do a lot of busking on my travelles.I was down on fishermans wharf at it one day,bit anxious as you are,of course security bloke comes along,Im expecting the big elbow,and the dude only complains that Im not loud enough,and to play up more!

San fran's always been a fave since then,good show cali peeps.

Na mate,don't anymore,christ,if any of me mates here saw me I'd never hear the end of it!

Hardly bothered with the guitar for ages,just done a brian wilson and [censored] it all off,but Im slowly gettin back into it.

Well this months musical flavours are the pixies and the breeders,kinda updating my backcatalouge,CD'S were'nt really a priority when I was globetrotting.

Anything goes on the guitar if I fancy it,I mean I even used to play 'yellowsubmarine' for [censored]'s sake when I was out.How embarrasing eh?

Anything for the readies though.

I busked once, for five mins, after a heavy night clubbing, bumped into a friend who was busking, borrowed his guitar, played 316 by Van Halen, and even got some cash. For me, Eddie Van Halen is the best guitarist ever

On the subject of guitars and guitar bands, what do people think of this new band 'The Music' , that claim theyre gonna storm the world ?

 

Haven't heard any of their stuff yet, so just wondering.
