I live in Bournemouth end up at Slinky most fridays (BORRINGG) But being a student i cant afford to go else where every weekend but i appreciate more when i do!

Na when you go the week after week it does get a bit boring, it used to be wicked but its going down hill! I cant even walk to the toilets with out having water thrown at me by the beer boys, just cause im in cyber!

Although these questions make for an entertaining thread and all opinions count, Do we really need to ask them do we need to catagorise people in this way?

yeah, kinda see ur point - one good thing in london is we do have a choice out of a few different clubs if we fancy a change one week.

was going to post a reply and Ray beat me to it... I don't give a [censored] what we or anyone gets called the main thing is that you enjoy yourself your damn right Ray.

 

I know a particular website I visit now and again and some of them showed complete disrespect to me because I told them I was going to Ibiza "a comercialised and some people would say capitalist club scene" for which thay probably have a point but to look down on me or to say I'm not a proper raver or clubber is to me just plain ignorance.

 

I agree with them that illegal and uncomercialised raving is great and it is a real buzz... but then again the week I had in Ibiza was also amazing to me it's all the same don't make you a bad person or not a proper clubber if you do either... it's all about getting away from the real world and enjoying yourself.

 

I've got no time for attitude or labelling in the club scene... take it as it comes I say and enjoy every bit you can... we all want the same thing... we just go different ways in getting it.

to everyone who is reading and replying in this post, i asked the question what is a proper clubber?? if you ask me i personally think theire is no such thing as a proper clubber and to be honest its all a load of bolloxs!! people are who they are, and everyone is in theire own little way theire own propper clubber!

Personally I think its fine to use whichever terms you want to describe people & things but not if they dont understand their definition so I will stop using the term 'dedicated clubber' - it was meant to be a phrase to seperate 'us' (and thats all of us on this site) from my old "clubbing" mates who weren't really into it at the end of the day and only went clubbing to get beered up and pull women, i.e. were most definitely not in it for the music and only went to clubs based on the quality of women expected to be there. Also, you would never catch them at a festival.

 

I'm not into catagorising peeps much either, but for what it';s worth, people who go to clubs/festivals/bars because of the music, atmosphere, or vibe, or like minded m8s and are fairly choosy about where they go, and like particular genres are clubbers. Like all of us.

People who go to pose or pull, or will listen to anything, like that school disco shite aren't clubbers.

Am i classed as a proper clubber?? And if so - why?
