Advertise themselves as "till late"

 

Sundissential is advertising itself as 9.30-till late, which it always does, and means until 4am. I have been to clubs that shut at 1.30am, and clubs that shut at 7.30am. Why say "till late"?

Just realised that title is a great topic, all of its own, "why do clubs?"

Should really say 10pm til early (as in 7:30am is bloody early morning!)

 

At that time in the morning, we would sometime hack across London to Club 414 or XLR8 (RIP) and keep going till midday!!!

I think in most cases, it's just to give themselves the option of closing at whichever hour they choose.

 

Rather than sat 4. am , they basically keep their options open.

But they will have a "latest time" on the licence, right? SO it only gives them the option to close early.

That's right, basically, if it all gets a bit much, or something serious happens, they can close early and you can't moan, because the flyer only said ' till late '

Yep i'm with grant, on this...it's called keeping all your options open and [censored] off the punters!!

but also if they are planing on shutting at 1.00am then no fucker would go if it were adervertised. And you can't argue cos for most of the rest of humanity, 1.00 am is late!!

They advertise themselves as 'til late' to cover themselves - if they arent very busy & decide to close at 5am then they arent gonna get a load of hassle off clubbers complaining it was advertised til 6am!
