We're looking to do the whole K90/Lab4 live act thing.

 

Anyone got any ideas on what we need to start, ie sampler, sequencer, keyboard etc, and anyone got any recommendations?

What sort of budget do you have?

I could recommend loads of kit, but alot could be a bit too pricey - especially if you're buying a whole set up from scratch. Though saying that, quality should never be compromised, so personally, (i speak from experience) i'd save up and get the kit i want instead of settling for less.

Their forum is quite good.

When our band look at going on the road next year, we are gonna cheat (mainly cos we have very little equipment). We will do all the arrangements with a part missing that I can play live, then put the rest on to ADAT, and play along to it, So I will be on synth, and the other half of the band singing.
