So I took an injection every 3 or 4 months that made me sic, fatigued and gain weight.

 

So, now that I've got that out of my system I've decided not to take anything at all.

 

We use condoms and have sex very regularly. We've learned to live with it cos seeing what birth control did to my system I don't mind the minor inconvenience.

 

Claire, not sure about the 5 year thing!!! My doctor's always counselled me to go every year to get these sorts of tests. And if you're in a monogomous relationship, I don't see the point in protecting yourself from STDs etc. Three years and we've only had one partner (eachother). No worries!
