Well i been hiding for about a week since gatecrasher, why well im not entriely sure.

Smashin weekend at crasher, but monday went and had a flu injection and for some reason im not sure whether it was to do with a downer from crasher or the injection hadnt just given me a mild dose of the flu but had given me a whole weeks worth of flu, i bin dead ill all week, no sleep, depression you name it, it took me till friday afternoon to begin to feel slightly happier. Any1 else had this flu injection and it made them feel this bad??

I had the injection too hun - dont think what you are suffering is from that - probs crasher. Did you get to meet anyone at crasher in the end hun ?

 

had my injection about 3 weeks ago and just had a stinking cold all w/e - cant fecking win !

It can actually give you a 'small ' dose of the flu which actually turns out to be a huge does more often than not!

I thought only OAP's got the flu jab ? I know James qualifies, but MD ?

My [censored] pays for the jab because it reduces the number of people off / the cost to the company. You could say "[censored] 'em" but in this case its a question of "[censored] me" and i dont like that option if I can avoid it ! Yes I know girls men are weak - well i'm weaker !

The 'flu injection cantains an attenuated version of the influenza virus. This is to cause the antibodies in your blood to react to the virus. Some of your white blood cells then remeber this virus, and if you encounter it again i.e.someone sneezes on you or something, your immune system can fight it off more quickly. The attenuated virus may cause a bad cold or even mildidh 'flu in people who have weak immune systems (i.e. they have been out on the razz too much, are recovering from another illness etc)

that's why i'm still thinking about, duno what to do! hence might take a year out and [censored] half year and then go travelling first.
